Arabanda is the musical project of Laila Amezian (Studio Pagol, Quanya) and Piet Maris (Jaune Toujours). Laila is influenced by arab-andalousic songs and with the help of Piet these songs were reduced to its essence and then rebuild with contemporary (eastern and western) means. On the record we can hear some
musicians of Jaune Toujours. They give the music an onstinate
colour. The result: an intimate, floating, trance-like sound.
