Metafoor (2000) Metafoor is a short film by director Sarah Baur, with Raven Ruëll and Céline Broeckaert in the leading parts. The film tells the coming of age of two young people, with a fair as their metaphorical arena. Maarten dreams of travelling, but he can't get himself to leave his mother. At the local fair, he meets the girl of his dreams: Caro. When Maarten tries to follow her, he finds obstacles on his way and learns to confront his fears. And Caro helps him: she teaches him to take pleasure in life and stimulates him to turn his dreams into reality.
